Domestic medium hair. Shelter kitty. Born March 28, 2013. Elite athlete. She gets on top of things. Rocks, trees, people, open windows at home, doors, coat racks, anything new she tries to get on top of.
A trip to Furburbia, a shelter in Park City, UT. A black kitty taken into a tiny room to get to know, she climbs up onto my shoulders immediately. 8 weeks old. She goes home with us that day.
She's calmer when secluded. People and dogs in nature freak her out, tense her. So we find remote areas, alone, where she's more at ease. Her more at ease means everything's more at ease. We go to Stansbury Island a lot. It's wide open, no underbrush few trees and a lot of big hills. She doesn't like being left out in the open so she follows when I hike away there. This practice got her use to following off-leash in open areas. There are a lot of slabby climbs there I go up and she follows too.
There's nothing special that makes her a climb kitty, she's just like your kitty, I just take her places.
